Answers to every question about our music marketing services, from how campaigns work to how we guarantee results.
How does the process work?+
Every campaign starts with a quick onboarding call and a strategy tailored to your goals. We handle creative, targeting, execution, and optimization while you focus on the music. Weekly updates with full transparency on performance.
Is this real promotion or bots?+
Everything we do is 100% transparent and platform compliant. No bots. No fake streams. No inflated numbers. Our strategies are backed by paid media, creator partnerships, and curated networks, all designed to build long term fans.
What platforms do you promote on?+
We run campaigns across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and a variety of other platforms. Our multi platform approach ensures your roster reaches fans wherever they discover new music.
Do you work with labels or only indie artists?+
We partner with labels and independent artists alike, from established rosters to first-time releases. Our approach stays the same: strategy first, results driven, fully customized.
What kind of results can we expect?+
Results vary by campaign, genre, and song. We set realistic estimated ranges for each package tier and report actuals you can verify yourself, then discuss targets for your specific goals.
How long until we see results?+
Most clients see meaningful traction within the first 2 to 4 weeks. However, sustainable growth is a marathon, not a sprint. We focus on building lasting momentum and long term fan engagement.
How long does it take to see results?+
Most campaigns are pitched to curators within 1 business day of payment clearing. Placement and stream activity typically begins within 3 business days, and builds over 5–14 days as curators add your track and listeners engage. Once your campaign wraps, you’ll receive a full report, usually within 3–5 days of completion.
Are these real playlists with real listeners?+
Yes. Always. Every playlist in our network has been manually reviewed before we work with them. We check follower authenticity, historical streaming data, and curator activity. We never work with bot-inflated playlists, pay-to-follow schemes, or artificially boosted libraries. Verified placement means genuine plays from people who actually listen.
What genres do you work with?+
We cover the major categories on Spotify: pop, hip-hop/rap, R&B/soul, EDM/electronic, rock, country, indie/alternative, Latin, Afrobeats, jazz, classical, and more. During checkout you’ll select your primary genre so we can pitch to curators who specialize in your sound.
What languages do you cover?+
We work with songs primarily in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Hindi, and Arabic in over 60 countries.
Can I submit more than one song?+
Yes. During checkout you can add up to 5 song links. Each track will be pitched individually to the playlists in your package. If you want to run larger multi-track campaigns simultaneously, reach out. We can build a custom plan.
Will this violate Spotify’s terms of service?+
Legitimate playlist pitching is fully compliant with Spotify’s terms. What Spotify prohibits is artificial streaming: bots, fake plays, and incentivized listens. Our placements involve real curators who independently choose to add your track, and real followers who choose to listen.
Do I need a distributor, label, or Spotify for Artists account?+
No label or distributor required. As long as your track is live on Spotify with a working streaming link, you’re eligible. Independent artists are welcome. In fact, most of our clients are indie.
Do you guarantee a specific number of streams?+
We provide realistic estimated ranges based on typical campaign performance for each package tier. Actual results vary by genre, song quality, playlist fit, and listener engagement, so we don’t promise an exact number. What we do guarantee is confirmed placement in active playlists with genuine followers.
How do I know my song was actually placed?+
Your campaign report includes the name of each playlist and its follower count. You can verify every single placement yourself by searching the playlist name on Spotify and finding your track.
What is your zero-risk policy?+
Our zero-risk policy ensures you only pay when your campaign is approved and placed. When you submit your song, we place a hold on your payment for up to 7 days while we pitch your music to our exclusive network of playlist curators. If your campaign is approved, we’ll process the charge and notify you of your placement(s). If your song is not approved, you will not be charged.
What if I’m not satisfied with my results?+
Contact our team within 7 days of receiving your campaign report. We stand behind the quality of our placements, and if something went wrong (a playlist was removed, streams were below the estimated range, or there’s a discrepancy in your report), we’ll work with you to make it right.
How can I contact you?+
You can send us an email at contact@4labsmusic.net. We will get back to you within 1 business day.
How do you ensure your playlists aren’t botted?+
Each curator in our network is heavily vetted. This process includes analyzing their playlists using data from Chartmetric and distributors before adding them to our network. We also vet the playlists to ensure that growth is solely from ad-driven or organic search sources.
How long will my campaign last?+
Campaign length depends on package size, genre, and approval timeline. You will be added to playlists within 8 days of approval. Once added, it may take 30–90 days to complete your campaign, depending on campaign size.
Are these real views or bots?+
Always real. Every view comes from genuine YouTube users shown your ad through Google’s official Ads platform. We never use bots, click farms, or incentivized traffic. Fake views violate YouTube’s Terms of Service and can get channels penalized or terminated. We don’t do that, ever.
Will this affect my YouTube channel or monetization status?+
No, running YouTube ads is explicitly permitted and encouraged by Google. Your channel won’t be penalized, and ad-driven views count toward watch time and engagement metrics for YouTube Partner Program (YPP) eligibility.
Why is your minimum campaign $149?+
$149 is where we can deliver a YouTube campaign that actually makes a difference. Smaller budgets don’t generate enough reach to build real awareness or momentum for your music. We only run campaigns we’re confident will create meaningful exposure.
How soon does my campaign launch after I pay?+
We configure and launch your campaign within 48 business hours of payment clearing. You’ll receive a confirmation email with campaign details once it’s live on YouTube.
Does my video need to meet any requirements?+
Yes. Your video must be uploaded to YouTube (public or unlisted). The first 5 seconds must be advertiser-friendly, avoid excessive profanity, graphic content, or hate speech. If your audio has an active Content ID copyright claim, it may block ads from running.
Do I need my own Google Ads account?+
No, we run everything under our agency’s Google Ads account. You don’t need to create an account, enter billing info, or configure any ad settings. Just provide your YouTube link and campaign goals at checkout.
Can I target specific countries or regions?+
Yes. At checkout you can select a specific country from 50+ regions (North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa) or choose “Worldwide” for maximum reach.
What types of YouTube ads do you run?+
We primarily run in-stream skippable ads (plays before videos, skippable after 5 seconds) and in-feed discovery ads (appears in YouTube search results and suggested feeds). Spotlight and Blockbuster campaigns also include non-skippable 15-second bumper ads.
How do I track results?+
You’ll see view counts increase directly on your YouTube video. Spotlight and Blockbuster campaigns include a full report: impressions, view rate, average watch duration, click-through rate, and audience breakdown, delivered within 5 days of campaign completion.
What happens to views long-term? Do they disappear?+
Views from Google Ads are permanent, they don’t disappear after the campaign ends. More importantly, the organic lift can last months: once YouTube’s algorithm registers consistent engagement, it continues surfacing your video in recommendations, search, and suggested content.
Can I run ads on a lyric video, visualizer, or live clip?+
Absolutely. Any YouTube video works: music video, lyric video, animated visualizer, live performance, or artist interview. The content just needs to clear Google’s ad policies.
How does payment work?+
Our zero-risk policy ensures you only pay once your video is reviewed by our team. We verify it doesn’t violate any Google Ads policy before approving the campaign. When you submit your video, we place a 7-day hold on your payment. If approved, we process the charge and notify you. If not approved, you will not be charged.
Are these real views or bots?+
Always real. Every view comes from a genuine TikTok user shown your video through official TikTok paid ads campaigns. We never use bots, fake accounts, or engagement pods. Fake engagement violates TikTok’s Terms of Service and can get accounts banned. We don’t do that, ever.
Will this affect my TikTok account?+
No. TikTok boost code campaigns are an officially supported promotion method built directly into TikTok’s platform. Running a campaign cannot get your account flagged, restricted, or banned. It’s the same system brands and labels use.
How soon does my campaign launch after I submit?+
Ads go live within 48 hours of submission.
What TikTok videos work best?+
Any public TikTok works: official music video, lyric clip, short vertical cut, or live performance. The first 1–2 seconds matter most. TikTok users scroll fast, so a strong visual hook up front helps. Avoid excessive text overlays that obscure the artist or song.
Can I target specific countries or regions?+
Yes. At checkout you can select specific countries from 50+ regions (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Middle East, Africa) or choose Worldwide for maximum reach.
How do I track results?+
You’ll see view counts, likes, comments, and follower growth directly on your TikTok account. Blaze campaigns include a full performance report with impressions, completion rate, engagement breakdown, and audience demographics.
Do views disappear after the campaign ends?+
Never. Not only that, once TikTok’s algorithm registers consistent engagement, it keeps surfacing your video in recommendations long after spend stops.
What if TikTok doesn’t approve my video?+
We’ll refund your payment in full or redirect your funds to another campaign of your choosing. We review videos before charging to avoid situations where ads can’t run.
How does payment work?+
Our zero-risk policy ensures you only pay once your video is reviewed and approved by our paid ads team. When you submit your video, we place a hold on your payment for up to 7 days while we review the video. If your campaign is approved, we process the charge and launch. If not approved, you are not charged.
What’s the difference between nano, micro, and macro influencers?+
Nano influencers (1K–10K followers) have smaller but deeply engaged audiences, often achieving 6–12% engagement rates. Micro influencers (10K–100K) offer wider reach with strong credibility. Macro influencers (100K–1M+) deliver massive reach and cultural credibility. They’re included in our Amplify and Collab tiers and are ideal for major releases that need maximum exposure. We use all three strategically: nanos for authentic grassroots buzz, micros for scalable discovery, and macros for high-impact visibility.
How do lyric pages and genre pages help my campaign?+
Lyric pages create shareable visual content featuring your song’s best lines, driving saves and shares, two signals Instagram’s algorithm heavily rewards. Genre and culture pages (hip-hop, R&B, pop, Latin, etc.) place your music directly in front of passionate niche communities who are actively looking for new music.
How soon can a campaign go live?+
Most campaigns can launch within 5–7 business days of submission. For pre-release campaigns, we recommend booking at least 14 days ahead of your drop date so we can coordinate creator timelines with your release window.
What content formats will creators use?+
Depending on your package, creators produce Instagram Reels, Stories, carousel posts, and lyric-graphic posts. Collab campaigns can also include IG Live sessions and UGC-style content optimized for re-sharing and paid amplification.
Can I combine this with other 4Labs services?+
Absolutely. Influencer campaigns pair perfectly with our Playlist and Ads services for a full-funnel rollout. Many clients run TikTok and Instagram influencers alongside paid ads for maximum cross-platform impact. Reach out and we’ll build a bundled strategy.
